Peach and Blush Wedding at The Colony House
Christina and James are incredibly warmhearted and fun people who I had the pleasure of working with for their wedding. Their Colony House wedding was effortlessly beautiful and in shades of peach and blush with elements from their favorite board games. The day started off with a first look and photo session at a nearby park. Christina was in a detailed, elegant wedding gown with hair and makeup by Kelly Zhang Studio. What I loved about Christina and James is that although they couldn’t have their dog, Ollie, at the wedding. They still made sure he was included in the photos as he made a very handsome appearance! After photos in the park, the couple made their way to the ceremony where guests will soon arrive.
The ceremony was candlelit with plenty of peach and blush florals from Milieu Florals down the aisle and altar. Board game memorabilia, traditional Chinese cuisine from Top Catering, hand-drawn watercolored signs, natural greenery, and wooden accents all created such a warm, inviting, and fun atmosphere to the reception. To see the happy couple play their trivia game (hosted by the groom, of course, enjoy their cake from Phoenix Bakery and dance the night away with their friends and family really warmed my heart. It was clear to see that this wedding was one for the books even before VOX DJs played the last song.
Thank you to Jennifer Fujikawa and Fond Productions for capturing all the beautiful moments of this day. Congratulations to the couple!
