Hearts of Gold Events believes in creating beautiful weddings in a way that creatively supports and gives back to the community, important causes, and mother nature. A portion of our service fees is donated to a charity chosen by the couple (or by us, if you prefer). And the only thing the couple has to do is show up and enjoy themselves!
Our Story
In the beginning, Mandy saved the floral arrangements abandoned after wedding celebrations, not wanting something so beautiful to go to waste. Relying on her eye for floral design, she rearranged the bouquets and left them at nursing homes and hospitals, where they could be given to patients by their visitors at no charge. This created a currency wholly comprised of smiles and gratitude.
She realized the significant amount of waste that accompanies the modern wedding and quickly discovered many other wedding items that could be repurposed, upcycled, or recycled. Inspired by this effect, Mandy thoughtfully launched Hearts of Gold Events in 2015 with these concepts and values in mind.
With the overwhelming amount of love that surrounds a wedding, it only makes sense to allow it to be shared and impact the lives of others. The genuine focus of this company is to create beautiful weddings in a way that creatively supports and gives back to the community, important causes, and mother nature. We are committed to guiding couples throughout the planning process with options and vendors that does not require compromising your wedding vision.

After having over a decade of experience in wedding planning and floral design, Mandy launched Hearts of Gold Events. What started out as a simple gesture turned into a defining moment of so much more.
Couples are drawn to Mandy’s fun sense of humor, remarkable efficiency, and extraordinary attention to detail. After all, love is in the details!
Mandy also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine, and is fluent in Chinese. Her work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Ceremony Magazine, and more.
